Partnerships

Operating outside a traditional “bricks & mortar” approach to business means we are reliant on community partnerships to make the work of Mindfulness in the Heartland a success.

Our partners provide communities to connect our work to, services and products to enrich our offerings, space for programming, and a great deal of shared purpose along the way.

We are committed to aligning our work with corporations, small businesses and non-profit organizations that share a dedication to the health and well-being of individuals and their respective communities.

We are grateful for the following partnerships…

partnerships_canihaveabite

Canihaveabite provides healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals for all of our retreats. Located within Unity Temple on the Plaza, their seasonal menu is sourced from local, organic ingredients and utilizes zero-waste packaging.

partnerships_centered_spirit

Centered Spirit, a cultural and holistic center located in Kansas City, Missouri, is home to many of our mindfulness classes and workshop offerings. The Center not only provides a safe environment for healing but is also a place to learn about cultures, traditions and tea rituals from around the world.

Emilie’s French Teas, a tea shop and tea room located within Centered Spirit provides teas for our retreats and special events.

partnerships_Nelson_Atkins

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, an institution of national and international renown, delivers unparalleled opportunities to enjoy, appreciate, and understand the finest visual arts and the varied cultures they represent. We’ve partnered with The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on several public programs that integrate mindfulness practices with works from the Museum’s collection.

partnerhips_Warriors_Ascent_Logo

Warriors’ Ascent, has created a holistic evidence-based retreat program rooted in centuries of tradition and utilized by ancient warrior cultures. We’ve partnered with Warriors’ Ascent to provide mindfulness training to their participants as part of their FREE five-day program that provides an environment dedicated to healing, using empirically-supported techniques and practices to create habits for long-term healing.

partnerships_well_wilderness

Well Wilderness Kids Therapeutic Nature Center, offers therapeutic, nature-based programs for children, parents, and families. We partner with Well Wilderness to provide mindfulness workshops and training for child-centered professionals, parents, and families.
